How to live healthy?

For health security measures, it is urgent that man lives in a healthy way. What are the ways to adopt in order to live healthy? You will discover some tips to achieve this.

A more efficient teeth cleaning.

According to a new study by the European Federation of Periodontology, about four out of five people over the age of 35 suffer from gum disease.  See our webpage. Gum disease is caused by an accumulation of plaque along the gum line. If left untreated, it can lead to tooth loss and an increased risk of heart disease and diabetes. To better protect your teeth and gums, replace your manual toothbrush with an electric toothbrush.

Eat fewer carbohydrates.

Contrary to popular belief, a new study from McMaster University in Hamilton shows that there is no link between eating more fat than recommended and heart disease or stroke. However, people who ate a lot of carbohydrates (more than 60% of total calories) were less healthy than those who did not. While moderation is important in any diet, don't avoid low-fat or fat-free foods, but instead try to reduce your sugar and carbohydrate intake.

More sleep

Don't you often prefer to watch the "last" episode of your favorite program or look at your phone again instead of sleeping? A new study published in the Journal of Sleep Research found that adults who get six or seven hours of sleep consistently seven days a week have a lower mortality rate than those who get five hours or less.

Limit salt intake

A pinch of salt in a potato, a well-cooked steak... We're all used to eating a lot of salt. Salt is easy to use and can be used to improve the taste of any dish. However, salt is bad for our health. Ideally, we should limit our salt consumption to 6 grams per day, but this is not always possible, as ready-made meals contain a lot of salt.

Fortunately, there are many spices that can add flavor to dishes and replace salt: thyme, rosemary, basil, etc. You can also make your own marinades for your dishes. You can also make your own marinades for meat and fish with less salt. Finally, always choose sea salt rather than table salt.
